The more notice you can give the better. Ideally 30 days gives us plenty of time for us to transfer your connection, particularly for Rural Wireless customers who may need a technician to come and remove or install equipment. 

For standard Fibre and 4G Urban Wireless services, the timeframe is much quicker.

If you need a Fibre box installed this process can take a few days up to 6 weeks, depending on the complexity. 

If you are cancelling services we require 30 days notice.

Certainly! If you want to upgrade or change your broadband plan during the move, get in touch with our customer support team. They will guide you through the available options and assist in making the necessary adjustments to your plan.

As an existing customer there is usually, but not always, a cost associated with moving house. The exact amount depends on a few factors such as; which service you are currently using (Ultra-Fast Fibre, 4G Urban Wireless or Rural Wireless), which service you’re moving to, and if there is a dish and router already installed at the new house (for Rural Wireless customers). Feel free to contact our customer support team and we can let you know what the cost will be.

Before you move, please check with us which service is available at your new address.  If you are changing from one type of service to another e.g. from Rural Wireless to Fibre, then you will need a new / different type of router. 

Rural Wireless Customers: No, please leave your Wireless Dynamics router and any associated gear at your old address, we will install a dish at the new address (if there isn’t already one there) and supply a new router.

Fibre Broadband Customers: Yes, you can bring your existing Wireless Dynamics router to your new address. But please make sure you leave the Fibre Box (ONT) and it’s power supply at your old address. (The Fibre Box is usually mounted to the wall).

4G Urban Wireless Customers:  Yes, you can take your existing Wireless Dynamics router with you but you will still need to let us know. 4G routers are assigned to a specific address, and may not work properly if not updated to the new address.

We supply routers to all of our customers, and do not generally allow customers to bring their own as we cannot guarantee support for them. All supplied routers remain the property of Wireless Dynamics
