Internet brought to you via the phone lines.

DSL Broadband is also known as Copper Broadband, and is the best option for you if you live in town.  It uses phone lines to transmit data.

ADSL is now the poorer cousin to VDSL which delivers faster speed, but the catch is that VDSL requires the phone line to have been upgraded from ADSL. If it hasn’t, then you’re out of luck and have to stay on ADSL.

Both of these are going to be usurped by Fibre when it hits your street.
